Production preparation
Preparing for the field production and the story work ahead.
Selected production history
Sports, competition & live production
Sergio Myers directed and served as showrunner on Spike TV’s 10 Things Every Guy Should Experience, a sports-themed reality competition series centered on major sporting experiences: the Super Bowl, NBA events, Kentucky Derby, Indianapolis 500 and WrestleMania. The work brought together competition storytelling, talent direction, crew leadership and production around major events.
Today, that field experience connects with hands-on live sports work: game-day camera coverage for the South Carolina Stingrays and Mud Racing Now’s 2026 season in South Carolina and Georgia, capturing trackside racing action and driver interviews for the livestream.

Inside the process · Croc Catchers NT
One of my processes for making a series: get the story out of the footage and onto the wall.
This is a working board from Croc Catchers NT for National Geographic Australia. I use a whiteboard and sticky notes to map scenes, interviews and story beats, work through episode structure, and keep track of the material still needed.
Being able to move the pieces helps me see the series as a whole while shaping the story inside each episode.

Put scenes, interviews and potential story beats where they can be seen together.
Move the pieces, test connections and develop a clear progression through each story.
Track pickups, follow-up interviews and editorial needs as the series takes shape.
Hands-on production
